APPROACHING
TO WORSHIP
Instrumental Prelude: “Jesus
Is Our Rock, A Shelter In A Time of Storm”
Welcome and Announcements
Ministry of Music: “How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling” Bob Brower
*Songs
of Praise: “He is Exalted”
#36
He is exalted,
the King is exalted on high;
I will praise Him.
He is exalted, forever exalted,
and I will praise His name!
He is the Lord; forever His truth
shall reign.
Heaven and earth rejoice in His holy
name.
He is exalted, the King is exalted
on high.
“We
Will Glorify” #105
1-4
We will glorify the King of kings;
We will glorify the Lamb.
We will glorify the Lord of lords,
Who is the great I AM.
Lord Jehovah reigns in majesty;
We will bow before His throne.
We will worship Him in
righteousness,
We will worship Him alone.
He is Lord of heaven, Lord of earth;
He is Lord of all who live.
He is Lord above the universe;
All praise to Him we give.
Hallelujah to the King of kings;
Hallelujah to the
Lamb.
Hallelujah to the Lord of lords,
Who is the great I AM.
“Our
God Reigns” #372
How lovely on the mountains are the
feet of him
Who brings good news, good news
Announcing peace,
proclaiming news of happiness.
Our God reigns;
our God reigns!
Refrain: Our God reigns!
Our
God reigns!
Our
God reigns!
Our
God reigns!
He had no stately form; He had no
majesty,
That we should be
drawn to Him.
He was despised, and we took no
account of Him,
Yet now He reigns with the Most High. Refrain
Out of the tomb He came with grace
and majesty;
He is alive, He is alive.
God loves us so- see here His hands,
His feet, His side.
Yes, we know He is alive. Refrain
*Opening Prayer and Mutual Greeting
*DECLARING
OUR FAITH
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son,
our Lord,
who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit
born of the virgin
Mary.
suffered under
Pontius Pilate,
was crucified,
dead, and buried;
he descended into
hell;
the third day he
rose again from the dead;
he ascended into
heaven
and is seated at
the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he shall
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
I believe a holy catholic* church,
the communion of
saints,
the forgiveness of
sins,
the resurrection of
the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
( * that is, the true Christian church of all times and all
places)
*Song of Response: “Rise Up, O Church of God” #433 1-4
Rise up, O Church of God!
Have done with lesser things;
Give heart and mind and soul and strength
To serve the King of kings.
Rise up, O Church of God!
His kingdom tarries long;
Bring in the day of brotherhood
And end the night of wrong.
Rise up, O sons of God!
The Church for you doth wait,
Her strength unequal to her task,
Rise up, and make her great!
Lift high the cross of Christ!
Tread where His feet have trod;
As followers of the Son of Man,
Rise up, O Church of God!

OF THE WORD
*Song of Preparation: “Come Christians Join to Sing” #225 1-3
Come, Christians, join to sing Alleluia! Amen!
Loud praise to Christ, our King; Alleluia!
Amen!
Let all, with heart and voice, before His throne
rejoice;
Praise is His gracious choice:
Alleluia! Amen!
Come, lift your hearts on high: Alleluia! Amen!
Let praises fill the sky; Alleluia! Amen!
He is our Guide and Friend; to us He'll
condescend;
His love shall never end: Alleluia! Amen!
Praise yet our Christ again, Alleluia! Amen!
Life shall not end the strain; Alleluia! Amen!
On heaven's blissful shore His goodness we'll
adore,
Singing forevermore, "Alleluia!
Amen!"
