The children are divided into three age groups (4-5yrs, 6-7 years and 8-10 yrs).  Each week, the children will visit three stations on a rotating basis.

Welcome to Pine Groovy Kids Camp!  Whether you are a one-time visitor or a summertime regular, we are excited to have you and your child(ren) join us.  Our theme this summer is:  “In His Hands”.  Each week we will explore a different portion of God’s creation and our role as stewards of His world.

Our theme verses are Genesis 2:15, 19-20.  The world of nature will be our storybook and the colorful palette from which we will draw our activities.

1.     Hush Arbor:  We will be using legends, folktales, nonfiction and poetry to read, illustrate, discuss and discover Biblical lessons and to apply those lessons in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

2.     Creation Station:  We will be unleashing our creative talent and vivid imaginations as we draw, paint, sculpt, glue, color and design theme-related projects.

3.     The Nature Trail:  We will awaken and challenge our ever curious minds by digging a little deeper into each week’s theme.  We will play games, learn memory verses, sharpen our science, math and language skill all while having a “nature” riffic time!

Do you remember sending “postcards” home from camp?  Be sure to ask your child(ren) to share their “postcard” with you detailing what they did weekly in each station.

Drop off and Pick-up

All children must be officially signed in.  Children may arrive beginning at 9:30 AM and dropped off in their appropriate room.

Pick-up will take place directly following the church service.  Due to limited space and safety concerns, we request that you wait outside until the children are brought to you.  Children must be dropped off and picked up by an adult.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child(ren)or the summer program, please see Linda, Ellen or Brenda.
