WORSHIP NOTES
Welcome! You’re among friends at Pine Grove Community
Church. We’re the young and old, the experienced
Christians, the brand new Christians, and those just curious about Jesus
Christ. We’re families, singles, students, kids and
couples. Wherever you’ve come from, and wherever
you’re at, you’re welcome to come as you are to Pine Grove! Please stay for a
cup of coffee or lemonade at the Family Life Center following worship.
Guests
are requested to fill out a welcome card at the Welcome
Center where you can also receive an information packet. If you are a regular
attendee of Pine Grove we would like to provide you
with a mailbox. Please submit your request to the church
office.
Nursery
care is offered during the a.m. service in the Church Basement for infants and toddlers
through age 2. Please honor the age limit. Please meet your children at the
nursery area immediately following worship.
All
children age 3-7 are encouraged to participate with
Children’s Worship. Children
are dismissed after the Children’s Message, and can go downstairs to worship. Please

I would
like to thank my church family for all of your prayers
and cards during Jerry’s illness and death. Thank you to Pastor Bill for
his visits. A big thank you to the ladies that put on the luncheon. God is

High Youth Group will meet today, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

High FOCUS group will meet this Saturday from
6:30-8:30p.m.

If you make a decision during this service to accept Jesus Christ
as your Savior, please stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a YES pack. This pack is designed to help you get started on your walk
with Christ.
Coffee after the morning service will be in the Family Life
Center.
This morning’s offering will be for Pine Grove Ministries.
Last week’s offering totals: Pine Grove Ministries, $4,997.00; Family
Life Center, $110.00; Benevolence, $280.00; Kentucky 2010, $181.70; David’s
House, $150.00. Thank
you very much for your generous giving.
Next Sunday, a second offering will be received for
the Family Life Center Debt Reduction Fund.
A brief congregational meeting will be held immediately after this
morning's service. In addition to casting the
Lot (drawing names) to select our new elders and deacons, a ballot asking you
to allow Wayne Hubers to serve an additional year as
Administrative Elder will be distributed. At
least week's congregational meeting the budget was approved, as was the goal of
$50,000 for Family Life Center Debt Reduction.
The Pine Line is available at the back of the sanctuary
today for those interested.
We Honor Our Military If you are a veteran, would you please
take a moment to sign the sheet in the back of church. Also, if you have a relative or
friend currently serving would you take a moment to fill out the sheet. If
able, please provide a photograph for display. If you have any questions,

The food truck is in need of plastic bags. If you have any you can offer them,
please leave them in back of church by the Welcome
Center. Thank you.
Pine Needles Mark your calendar for this Friday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Life
Center. After
show and tell the plan is to continue with the Quilts of Valor projects for our
wounded heroes. Bring
your machine, black and white thread and a ¼ inch
foot, (materials and quilting tools are supplied.). If you’d like to help, or
would rather work on your own project, pack a “brown bag” for lunch and join
the Ladies and one lone Gent as we stitch and knit to our hearts content. Any

A New Members Class will meet next Sunday and November 29
from 2:00-4:00 p.m., for those desiring to profess their faith or join the
church or just wanting to know more about it. Contact Pastor
Bill for necessary materials. If these times are unworkable for
you, please contact Pastor Bill to discuss other arrangements.
This year
the Thanksgiving Senior Lunch will be held on Wednesday,
November 18. If
you are willing to donate a turkey for this lunch, please have it here no later
than today. If

we are planning on having a big bunch. If you could plan to give us
some help that day, the rewards you’ll get will
certainly pay your way.
Ladies, you are invited to our Christmas Brunch on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10:00 am in the
Family Life Center. Come eat, sing, and
fellowship. Child care available upon request. There will be a free will offering.
Please sign up at the podium.
Our Church Christmas Program for this year is scheduled for the
morning service of December 13, 2009. It will be a worship service of
the Word and Music that celebrated the Birth of Christ. Everyone interested in
participating is asked to talk with Jan or Ken Plakmeyer. Specific
opportunities include readings,
choir, instrumentalists, non-speaking cast members (Mary, Joseph, Shepherds,
Wiseman). The
children from Sunday School and Children’s Worship
will also be included.
The
senior lunch for December will be held on December 30.
The
Senior High youth group is selling calendars again this year. They
will be $7.00 a piece. If you have any questions,
please contact Paul Brock or Linda Bonnier.
Prayer Meeting – This could be the best meeting of our
church. If we pray believing, our meeting can
come alive with God’s power. Come join us in the Prayer Room
in the basement of the church every Sunday morning at 8:45 or whenever you can
come. Feel

Spartan UPC’s are continually being collected as a
fundraiser for the GEMS. GEMS, bring in 10 UPC’s get one point. Earn and collect points, get cool
