WORSHIP SERVICE
June 28, 2009 – 10:00 a.m.
Instrumental
Prelude
*Welcome
*Call to Worship:
I am the LORD your God, who
brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other
gods before me. Therefore, my dear friends, flee from
idolatry. Ex.20:2-3;
1 Cor. 10:14
*God's
Greeting and Mutual Greeting
*Songs of
Praise: “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”
Come, thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs
of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount I'm
fixed upon it mount of God's redeeming love.
Oh, to grace how great a debtor daily I'm
constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my
wandering heart to thee:
prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to
leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it; seal it
for thy courts above.
“Glorify
Thy Name”
Father, we
love You, we worship and adore You, glorify Your name
in all the earth,
glorify Your name, glorify Your name, glorify Your name in
all the earth.
Jesus, we
love You, we worship and adore You, glorify Your name
in all the earth,
glorify Your name, glorify Your name, glorify Your name in
all the earth.
Spirit, we
love You, we worship and adore You, glorify Your name
in all the earth,
glorify Your name, glorify Your name, glorify Your name in
all the earth.

Offering for Pine
Grove Ministries
Offertory Song: “I Would Be like Jesus”
Earthly pleasures vainly
call me,
I would be
like Jesus;
Nothing
worldly shall enthrall me,
I would be
like Jesus.
Refrain: Be like
Jesus- this my song,
In the home and in the throng;
Be like Jesus all day long,
I would be like Jesus.
He has broken every fetter,
I would be
like Jesus;
That my
soul may serve Him better,
I would be
like Jesus. Refrain
All the way from earth to
glory,
I would be
like Jesus;
Telling
o'er and o'er the story,
I would be
like Jesus. Refrain
That in heaven He may meet
me,
I would be
like Jesus;
That His
words, "Well done," may greet me,
I would be
like Jesus. Refrain

*Song of
Preparation: “When We Walk with the Lord”
When we walk with the Lord in the light
of his Word,
what a glory he
sheds on our way!
While we do his good will
he abides with us still,
and with all who
will trust and obey.
Refrain: Trust and
obey, for there's no other way
to be
happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.
But we never can
prove the delights of his love
until all on the
altar we lay; for the favor he shows
and the joy he
bestows are for those who will trust and obey. Refrain
Then in fellowship sweet
we will sit at his feet,
or we'll walk by
his side in the way; what he says we will do,
where he sends we
will go never fear, only trust and obey.
Refrain
Scripture:
Revelation 2:12-17
REV 2:12 "To the angel of the church
in Pergamum write:
These are the words of
him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. 13 I know where
you live--where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did
not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful
witness, who was put to death in your city--where
Satan lives.
14 Nevertheless, I have a few things
against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who
taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by
eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. 15 Likewise you also have those who hold to the
teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16
Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against
them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He who
has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will
also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him
who receives it.
