CHURCH FAMILY

Ken Meyer will undergo a robotic prostectomy tomorrow morning at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. Pray that his cancer is fully contained and will be completely removed.

 

Lavonne Kanis begins a series of thirteen radiation treatments tomorrow for

her bone cancer. Pray the treatments will provide a reduction in pain.

 

The Woody’s have transferred their membership to Brookside CRC in Grand Rapids, and Ed & Fran Schroeder have transferred their membership to the Jenison Bible Church.

 

 

YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Jr. High: Next regular meeting is on Saturday, January 24 at 6:30 p.m. All Grace Youth Camp materials will be due at this time.

 

Sr. High: We meet this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

 

SERVE Participants: If you plan to go on 2009’s SERVE Project, August 1-8, in Minneapolis, you need to get your $100.00 to Pastor Steve. Make checks payable to Pine Grove Church.

Pine Needles meets on Friday, January 16 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone that has a talent for needlework is invited to attend.

 

“The Life You’ve Always Wanted” – an approximate 6 week course will be offered beginning January 25, hosted by Pastor Steve. If you are interested in attending please sign up on the sheet in the lobby and indicate whether you’d like a book for $14.00 and/or a workbook for $8.00.

 

The King’s Choraliers will participate in a special area-wide worship service at the Blythefield Christian Reformed Church, 6350 Kuttshill Drive, NE, Rockford, on Sunday evening, January 25, 2009 at 6:00 p.mEveryone is invited to attend.

LADIES, mark your calendar for May 1 & 2 for a Women's Retreat. The retreat will be held at The Shack Bed and Breakfast to accommodate more people. The cost is  $55.00 per person which includes lodging Friday night, Friday night dinner buffet, banana split, breakfast buffet, lunch, use of conference room and gratuity. (Scholarships available)  Payment due by February 15, fully refundable until March 15. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
