Prelude: His Wonderful
Light
Welcome and Announcements
* Songs of Praise: “There’s No God
as Great” Grey PH #517
There’s no god as great as you, O Lord,
O Lord, my God
There’s no god as great as you, O Lord,
O Lord, my God.
There’s no god who works the mighty wonders,
All the wonders that
you do.
There’s no god who works the mighty wonders,
All the wonders that
you do.
Not by our weapons, nor by our power,
But by your Spirit we are led.
Not by our weapons, nor by our power,
But by your Spirit we are led.
The Holy Spirit will move the church,
The Holy Spirit will move the church,
The Holy Spirit will move the church,
For by your Spirit we are led
We Give You But Your Own” Grey PH #296
We give you but your own in any gifts we
bring:
All that we have is yours alone, a trust
from you, our King
To comfort and to bless, to find a balm
for woe,
To tend those lost in loneliness is
angels’ work below
The captive to release, the lost to God to
bring,
To teach the way of life and peace - it
is a Christ-like thing.
And we believe your Word, though dim our
faith may be.
What-e’er we do
for you, O Lord, we do it gratefully.
“Ancient Words”
Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world;
They resound with God’s own heart
O, let the ancient words impart;
Words of life, words of hope,
Give us strength, help us cope;
In this world where-‘er
we roam
Ancient words will guide us home.
Chorus: Ancient words, ever true,
Changing me, and changing you;
We have come with open hearts,
O let the ancient words impart
Words of our faith,
handed
down to this age;
came to us
through sacrifice
O, heed the faithful words of Christ;
Holy words, long preserved
For our walk in this world;
They resound with God’s own heart;
O, let the ancient words impart.
Chorus 2x

DECLARING OUR FAITH - Lord’s
Day 21
Q. 54 What do you believe concerning
“the holy catholic church”?
A. I believe that the Son of God
Through his Spirit and Word
Out of the entire human race,
From the beginning of the world to its
end,
Gathers, protects, and preserves for
himself
A community chosen for eternal life
And united in
true faith.
And of this
community I am, and always will be, a living member.
Q. 55 What do you understand by “the
communion of saints”?
A. First, that believers
one and all,
As members of this community
Share in Christ
And in all
his treasures and gifts.
Second, that each member
Should consider it a duty
To use these gifts
Readily and cheerfully
For the service and enrichment
Of the other
members.
Song of Response: “Spirit of the Living God” Grey PH #424
Spirit of the Living God, fall a-fresh on
me:
Spirit Of the Living God, fall a-fresh on
me.
Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me.
Spirit of the Living God, fall a-fresh on
me.
Spirit of the Living God, move among us
all;
Make us one in heart
and mind, make us one in love:
Humble, caring,
selfless, sharing.
Spirit of the Living
God, fill our lives with love.

* Song of Response: “Onward, Christian Soldiers”
* God's
Blessing
* Doxology:
O Christians, haste, your mission high
fulfilling, to tell to all the world that God is light,
That he who made all nations is not
willing one life should perish, lost in shades of night.
Proclaim to every people, tongue, and
nation that God, in whom they live and move is love;
Tell how He stooped to save His lost
creation, and died on earth that we might live in love.
Send heralds forth to bear the message
glorious; give of your wealth to speed them on their way;
Pour out your soul for them in prayer
victorious, till God shall bring His kingdom’s joyful
day!
Publish glad tidings, tidings of peace,
Tidings of Jesus,
redemption, and release.
Postlude: “Go Light Your World”
