Welcome and Announcements
*Songs of Praise: “We Bring the Sacrifice of Praise” #213
“Great and
Mighty” (2x) #129
“Mighty Is
Our God” #48
“How Great Is
Our God”
The splendor of the King,
Clothed in majesty,
Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice.
He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide;
It trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice.
Chorus:
How great is our God. Sing with me
How
great is our God. And all will see
How great, how great is our
God.
Age to
age He stands. And time is in
His hands,
Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End.
The Godhead, Three in One:
Father, Spirit, Son.
The Lion and the Lamb, Lion and the Lamb.
Chorus:
(sing 1 x)
Name above all names.
You are worthy of all praise.
My heart will sing how great is our God
Chorus: (sing 1 x)
(Congregation
sings this part) (Praise team solo only)
How great is our God, sing with
me (Name above all names.)
How great is our God, sing with
me (You are worthy of all
praise.)
How great, how great is our God (My heart will sing how
great is our God)
*Opening Prayer and Mutual Greeting
*DECLARING
OUR FAITH
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten
Son, our Lord,
who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit
born of the virgin Mary.
suffered under
Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he
rose again from the dead;
he ascended into
heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he shall
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
I believe a holy catholic* church,
the communion of
saints,
the forgiveness of
sins,
the resurrection of
the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayer is the expression of a human
heart in
conversation with God. The more natural the prayer, the more real He becomes.
Think what we could accomplish if there were more of us praying! Come join us
in the prayer room downstairs every Sunday morning at 8:45 or
whenever you can come. Feel free to walk in anytime and leave when you
need to. Please call Joan Tanis (231-652-5254) or
Pastor Steve (231-652-7121) with your prayer requests.
All building use must be scheduled with the church
secretary, so we can avoid building use conflicts. Thank you.
Are you interested in the best seat in the house? See the sound
crew for details.
Cancellations: When we have to cancel a worship
service, notice will be posted on both channels 8 and 13 on TV. We will also send notice via the email prayer chain.
