Welcome! You’re among
friends at Pine Grove Community Church. We’re the
young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those
just curious about Jesus Christ. We’re families,
singles, students, kids and couples. Wherever you’ve
come from, and wherever you’re at, you’re welcome to come as you are to Pine
Grove! Please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade following worship.
Guests are invited to fill out a pew card and drop it in the
offering plate or at the Welcome Center in the lobby when you stop for an
information packet. If you are a regular attendee of Pine Grove
we would like to provide you with a mailbox and / or a name tag. Please submit

Nursery
care is offered during the a.m. service in the Church Basement for infants and
toddlers through age 2. Please honor the age limit. Please meet your children
at the nursery area immediately following worship.
Children
age 3 to 6 are encouraged to participate with Children’s Worship. Children
are dismissed after the Children’s Message, and can go downstairs to worship.

in the prayer room downstairs every Sunday morning at 8:45 or

Are you interested in fellowship along with a night of Volleyball? DeeAnn Norton is coordinating Volleyball night and has

Grant Christian School has Open Enrollment for 2008-09 school year for Preschool through 8th grade. Preschool
meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:20 – 11:00 and afternoons 12:20 –
2:50. Morning preschool is filling up fast! Call today, 231-834-8445. Children
must be 4 by December 1st.
Valentine’s Dinner - Ladies…get out that fun red dress! Gents…polish those dress
shoes! The Junior High FOCUS youth group will be hosting a candlelight
dinner on Feb 14, 2009 in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Join us for a
wonderful evening of fine dining and fine fellowship. This event is open to all
adults, both couples and singles! You might even want to bring a few
friends! Pine Grove’s Junior High FOCUS youth group is
raising funds for their annual winter retreat and are very excited to be
planning and serving at this event, they are even trying to learn a few
French words just to impress you! Reservations are definitely required, so
please sign up in the Narthex or call Jackie Kamp at 231-937-6312 by Feb 8th, 2009.

Fun!
Come for some warm winter fun. Adult Game Night on Saturday,
February 21 at 7:00 pm in the Family Life Center. Bring your
favorite game and a snack to share.
LADIES, mark your calendar for May
1 & 2 for a Women's Retreat. The retreat will be held at The
Shack Bed and Breakfast to accommodate more people. The cost is
$55.00 per person which includes lodging Friday
night, Friday night dinner buffet, banana split, breakfast buffet, lunch,
use of conference room and gratuity. (Scholarships available) Payment due by February 15, fully refundable until
March 15. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
Ready to start thinking about summer? Are mosquito bites and sunburn starting
to sound good after this long winter blast? Want to enjoy
some fellowship with friends? Is there someone you would just love to
dunk in a river? Then sign up for the first ever Pine Grove - Pine River campout
and canoe trip. Cost is $44 per watercraft; either kayak or canoe; each holds 2 people. Just $22 for double occupancy,
plus $9/ night for camping for those 16 and over; $5 for those 15 and under at
Pine River Paddle Camp Grounds. Dates are Friday June 19, with a 5-hour
canoe trip planned for Saturday June 20. We are planning to eat a meal together
after the first 2 hours and a chance to quit if those big blisters are
bothering you, or you can continue on for another 3 hours of callused canoe
carousing! There is a sign-up sheet in the back of church, or you can contact
Pastor Steve at 652-7121.

secretary, so we can avoid building use conflicts. Thank you.

your returnables to the Cadet area.
