DECLARING OUR FAITH
Leader: You are here O Lord!
You are here in this place with your people…. You are here.
All: You are here to tune
my heart to sing of Your wonderful grace.
Leader: For Your great
mercy demands my highest praise, my loudest song!
All: You are here to teach
me the song of the angels that I may join them in your praise.
Leader: For Your love has
richly blessed my life. You have guided my every step with Your
strong hand.
All: You are here to assure
me that you will continue to lead me in Your righteous
path.
Leader: I did not choose You,
Lord. You sought me out and rescued me from danger with the blood of Your son. I owe my life to Your
marvelous grace!
All: You are here to bond
my heart to You through your goodness for I often
wander from Your love.
Leader: Here is my heart O
Lord. Take it, seal it…set it apart for your praise alone.
All: You are here

WORSHIP NOTES
Welcome! You’re among friends at Pine Grove Community
Church. We’re the young and old, the experienced
Christians, the brand new Christians, and those just curious about Jesus
Christ. We’re families, singles, students, kids and
couples. Wherever you’ve come from, and wherever
you’re at, you’re welcome to come as you are to Pine Grove! Please stay for a
cup of coffee or lemonade at the Family Life Center following worship.
Guests
are requested to fill out a welcome card at the Welcome
Center where you can also receive an information packet. If you are a regular
attendee of Pine Grove we would like to provide you
with a mailbox and/or name tag. Please submit your request to the church
office.
We have a prayer team that gathers in
Pastor Brent’s office during the morning service. They are willing to pray for
anything that is weighing on your heart. If you have a request, write it
on the back of a pew card and place it in the collection plate the first time
it is passed. The
team is also available to you should you desire to have someone pray with you. Please
join them after the first offering is taken if this is your need.
Nursery
care is offered during the a.m. service in the Church Basement for infants and toddlers
through age 2. Please honor the age limit. Please meet your children at the
nursery area immediately following worship.
All
children age 3-7 are encouraged to participate with
Children’s Worship. Children
are dismissed after the Children’s Message, and can go downstairs to worship. Please
honor the age limit. Parents:
Please meet your children downstairs, after worship.
All
songs are reprinted with permission by CCLI #649460.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
If you make a decision
during this service to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, please stop by the
Welcome Center and pick up a YES pack. This
pack is designed to help you get started on your walk with Christ.
Coffee after the morning
service will be in the Family Life Center.
Our offering this morning will be for Pine
Grove Ministries.
Last week’s
offering totals: Pine
Grove Ministries, $2,565.12; Benevolence, $130.00; Family Life Center, $399.38;
Thank you for your generous giving.
Easter Flowers:
Today is the last chance to order Easter Flowers. We'd
love to have a bunch of flowers to decorate the front of church for our Easter
service. Due to some people who are
allergic to the Lilies, we will have silk lilies up. You
may still order live lilies which you can pick up in the family life
center on Easter morning. If you have
any questions, please contact Jackie Veenstra. (937-4520)
Next Sunday the Youth Group will be hosting the Sunrise service at 7:15
a.m. Please make a point
to encourage and support our high school students by attending. Following
the service there will be a gourmet breakfast available with your generous
donation. Join
us, next Sunday.
Because of the Easter
holiday, there
will be NO Sunday school next Sunday. Classes will resume on April
11.
Out of respect for those sitting around you,
please refrain from using all electronic devices during the service. Thank
you.
A New Members Class will meet on April 18
and May 2, from 2:00-4:00 p.m., for those desiring to profess their faith or
join the church or just wanting to know more about it. Contact
Pastor Bill for necessary materials. If these times are unworkable
for you, please contact Pastor Bill to discuss other arrangements.
Don't
throw away those empty
ready-to spread frosting containers, or International coffee tins. Please
clean them and bring them to the children’s worship room. We are in need of 100. Watch
for them to reappear on Memorial Sunday as part of a fun Sharing Our Service (S.O.S) project. Contact Brenda Plakmeyer with any questions.
Helping Hands and Love INC
Yearly Feinstein Challenge: From March 1st through April 30th, the Fight
Against Hunger movement, sponsored by the noted philanthropist, Alan Feinstein,
is offering their yearly challenge. During these two months only,
any monetary and/or food donations ($1 credit for each can or package of food)
made to Helping Hands or Love INC will be totaled and the amount reported to
the Feinstein Foundation in order to qualify Helping Hands or Love INC for a
portion of the one million dollars that has been set aside to match funds. The
amount Helping Hands or Love INC receives will be its portion when all the
qualifying food pantries in the United States have submitted their donation
amounts. The
more Helping Hands or Love INC collects, the larger the percentage they will
receive. Donations
may be mailed to Helping Hands, P.O. Box 532, Howard City, MI 49329 or Love INC, 11 W. 96th Street. Grant, MI 49327. If a receipt is needed, a
request, including name and address, must accompany checks. The goal is to collect as much
as possible during the above time frame so that
Helping Hands or Love INC will receive a greater amount of the one million
dollars.
