We have come into His house
and gathered in His name to worship Christ the Lord.
Worship Him, Christ the Lord.
Let's forget about ourselves

Prayer and Mutual Greeting
Songs
of Praise: “The Name of
the Lord”
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be the name of the Lord most high;
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
Blessed be the name of the Lord most high.
Holy is the name of the Lord,
Holy is the name of the Lord,
Holy is the name of the Lord most high;
Holy is the name of the Lord,
Holy is the name of the Lord,
Holy is the name of the Lord most high.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower,
The righteous run into it and they are safe;
The name of the Lord is a strong tower,
The righteous run into it and they are safe.
Glory to the name of the Lord,
Glory to the name of the Lord,
Glory to the name of the Lord most high;
Glory to the name of the Lord,
Glory to the name of the Lord,
Glory to the name of the Lord most high
“The
Power of Your Love”
Lord, I come to You, Let my heart be changed, renewed.
Flowing from the grace that I’ve found in
you.
And Lord I’ve come to know the weaknesses I see in me
Will be stripped away by the pow’r of Your love.
Refrain: Hold
me close, let Your love surround me;
Bring me near,
draw me to your side.
And as I
wait, I’ll rise up like the eagle,
And I will
soar with You, Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of your
love.
Lord, unveil my eyes, let me see You face
to face,
The knowledge of Your love as you live in
me.
Lord renew my mind, as Your will unfolds
in my life,
In living every day in the power of Your
love! Refrain

Offertory
and Preparatory Song: “Break
Thou the Bread of Life”
Break Thou the bread of life,
Dear Lord, to me,
As Thou didst break the loaves
Beside the sea;
Beyond the sacred page
I seek Thee, Lord;
My spirit pants for Thee,
O Living Word.
Break Thou the bread of life,
O Lord, to me,
That hid within my heart
Thy Word may be;
Mold Thou each inward thought,
From self set free,
And let my steps be all
Controlled by Thee.
Open Thy Word of Truth
That I may see
Thy message written clear
And plain for me;
Then in sweet fellowship,
Walking with Thee,
Thine image on my life
Engraved will be.
Bless Thou the truth, dear Lord,
To me, to me,
As Thou didst bless the bread
By Galilee;
Then shall all bondage cease,
All fetters fall,
And I shall find my peace,
My All in All.
O send Thy Spirit, Lord,
Now unto me,
That He may touch my eyes
And make me see;
Show me the truth concealed
Within Thy Word,
And in Thy Book revealed
I see the Lord.
Scripture: Matthew 5:1-3
[5:1] Now when he saw the crowds, he
went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, [2] and he began to teach them,
saying:
[3] “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Prayer
* Hymn of Response: “Be
Thou My Vision”
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou
art-
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son,
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art.
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, bright heaven's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
* Benediction
* Doxology: “Praise God, from Whom All
Blessings”
Praise God, from
whom all blessings flow;
praise him, all creatures here below;
praise him above, ye heavenly host;
praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen. Amen.

Congratulations
to Tom Slendebroek for receiving the rare Gold Star at the
Cadet Convention in California. This was given to him for all
of his hard work and volunteer years with the Cadets, and bringing these young
men into a closer relationship with our Lord.
Tom Slendebroek and Casey Dykstra would like to thank the congregation at
Pine Grove for the opportunity to attend the 2010 Cadet Counselors Convention
in San Diego, California on July 15-17. The convention helped to remind
us that we are a ministry to boys and doing God’s work along with binding
together counselors and Cadets in Jesus Christ. We attended many different
workshops that have given us the tools needed to begin the new Cadet season
refreshed and ready for God’s work. We would like to again thank
the congregation for their time, prayers, financial support
and words of encouragement and look forward to serving in the future.
A sincere Thank You to everyone that helped with the GEMS/Cadets tent
sale. This
would not be possible if it weren’t for the many volunteers that put in many
hours each year. Your
generosity doesn’t go unnoticed.
PINE GROVE FAMILY: Thank you to all of you who filled up the Prayer Partner
boards, and committed to being a faithful prayer partner for members of our
student ministries.

BEN UTECHT…His name may sound familiar, but not in
Christian music. Formerly
a starting tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals and
the Indianapolis Colts, this Super Bowl winning player is known for his faith
both on and off the field. Full of passion, depth, and an
insight to the struggles of faith and life, his songs provoke and honesty and
sensitivity that tap directly into the heartstrings of our relationship to
Christ. Ben
is a fresh new wordsmith, musician and singer, from an unlikely arena. Pine
Grove is excited to welcome him this evening for the second concert in the
Summer Concert Series.

“Prayer can do anything God can do. That’s true because the one power in

anywhere God can reach. And God is everywhere, so His
power can reach to every corner of the earth through our prayers.” From Love to Pray, by Alvin Vander Griend. Come
join us in the Prayer Room in the Family Life Center every Sunday morning at
8:45 or whenever you can come. Feel free to walk in anytime
