THE LAW OF GOD
The Ten Commandments – Deuteronomy 5:6-21
Leader: “I
am the Lord your God,
who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
People: “You
shall have no other gods before me.
Leader: “You
shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or
on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not
bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your
God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the
third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a
thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
People: “You
shall not misuse the name of the Lord your
God, for the Lord will
not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
Leader: “Observe
the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your
God has commanded you. 13 Six
days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to
the Lord your God.
On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor
your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your
animals, nor the alien within your gates, so that your manservant and
maidservant may rest, as you do. Remember that
you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your
God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your
God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.
People: “Honor
your father and your mother, as the Lord your
God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with
you in the land the Lord your
God is giving you.
Leader: “You
shall not murder.
People: “You
shall not commit adultery.
Leader: “You
shall not steal.
People: “You
shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
Leader: “You
shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your
neighbor’s house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or
anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Song of Response: “Cleanse Me”
SERVICE OF PRAYER
SERVICE OF THE WORD
Morning Offering: Church ministries
Offertory: Piano solo – Victoria Vander West
Song of Preparation: “My Tribute”
How
can I say thanks for the things you have done for me--
Things
so undeserved, yet you give to prove your love for me?
The
voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude--
All
that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to thee.
Refrain: To God be the glory, to God be the
glory,
To God be the glory for the things he
has done;
With his blood he has saved me; with
his power he has raised me.
To God be the glory for the things he
has done.
Just
let me live my life; let it be pleasing, Lord, to thee.
And should I gain any praise, let it go to Calvary.
With
his blood he has saved me; with his power he has raised me.
To
God be the glory for the things he has done.

Song of Response: “Let It Be Said of Us”
Let
it be said of us that the Lord was our passion.
That
with gladness we bore every cross we were given;
That
we fought the good fight, that we finished the course¾
Knowing within us the pow’r of the risen
Lord.
Refrain: Let the cross be our glory and the
Lord be our song.
By mercy made holy, by the Spirit made
strong.
Let the cross be our glory and the
Lord be our song
Till the
likeness of Jesus be through us made known.
Let the cross be our glory and the
Lord be our song.
Let
it be said of us: we were
marked by forgiveness,
We
were known by our love, and delighted in meekness.
We
were ruled by his peace, heeding unity’s call;
Joined
as one body that Christ would be seen by all. (Refrain)

join them after the first offering is taken if this is your need.

prayer for our family. Roger and Betty Emert.
Thank you Pine Grove family for the prayers, calls and cards before

time. Arlene

I firmly
believe that the healing progress from my recent surgery is
because of the may prayer on my behalf. Thank you to my wonderful
Church Family for your many prayers, cards and delicious meals. Also,
thank you for the Prayer Quilt. I truly feel the love of every
stitch and the peace brought by prayer with that quilt over my feet and legs. A
peaceful sleep envelopes me and strengthens my body. Thanks, Jeanne Irwin
