Leader:
You were not Redeemer with perishable things like silver or gold, but
with
precious blood as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows. He was pierced for our
transgressions, he was crushed for our
iniquities; the punishment that brought
us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are
healed.
Everyone:
Thank you, Lord, for your amazing love.
Worship Leader: When the women went to the
tomb on the third day and found it empty the
angel said to them, “Why do you
look for the living among the dead? He is not
here; the Lord has risen!!!”
Everyone: He has risen
indeed!
Worship Leader: The Lord has risen!
Everyone: He has risen
indeed!
Worship Leader: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is
your sting? Death
has
been swallowed in victory!
Everyone: Christ has risen
indeed!
Worship Leader: Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the
life. He who
believes in me will live,
even
though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
Everyone: Thanks be to God! He gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Worship Leader: The Lord has risen!
Everyone: He has risen indeed! Alleluia!
